Description

DO NOT beat with a mixer!!! Mix only by hand. All ingredients should be at room temperature. The baking pan should be greased with butter and dusted with breadcrumbs. Bake for about an hour. You can split the batter in half and add cocoa powder to make a zebra cake.)

  • Sour Cream 10 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Activated Baking Soda ½ spoons
  • Wheat Flour 2 glasses
  • Sugar 1 glass

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the sour cream, sugar, and eggs. Mix each ingredient thoroughly before adding the next to avoid any lumps.

Step 2

Add a piece of butter to the skillet and melt it over medium heat. If it gets too hot, let the butter cool slightly; otherwise, the eggs will curdle from the very hot butter!

Step 3

Dissolve 0.5 teaspoons of baking soda in vinegar, then mix into the dough.

Step 4

Gradually add the flour, mixing thoroughly to avoid lumps.

Step 5

Bake at a temperature of 195–390°F until the dough rises, cracks appear, and it turns golden brown. Then reduce the temperature to 300°F and bake for another 20–30 minutes. In the last 10 minutes, you can gently poke a toothpick into it to check for doneness.
