Sour Cream Biscuits with Cheddar
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 1½ cups
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Butter 2 tablespoons
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
- Canned Jalapeño Peppers 2 tablespoons
- Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
- Sour Cream 1 container

Preheat the oven to 430°F.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the cold butter cut into small pieces and mix with your hands until crumbly.
Step 3
Add the grated cheese, finely chopped jalapeño, and sour cream. Knead to form a soft dough.
Step 4
Place the dough on a floured surface and roll it out. Cut out 6 circles, each 9 cm in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown.
