Solyanka with Sausage
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
- Chicken Broth 5 lbs
- Passata Tomato Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Spices 4 teaspoons
- Pickles 2 pieces
- Green onion tops 1 piece
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 5 oz
- 20% Sour Cream 4 tablespoons
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the potatoes into cubes. Finely chop the onion, cut the pickles into cubes or grate them on a coarse grater. Cut the sausage into strips.
Step 2
Fry the onion in vegetable oil, add the pickles and tomato paste to taste, and fry a little longer.
Step 3
Add the potatoes and spices to the boiling broth, cook for 10 minutes, then add the fried vegetables and sausage, and simmer on low heat until cooked.
Step 4
Add a bay leaf 5 minutes before the end of cooking.
Step 5
When serving, garnish the solyanka with sour cream and sprinkle with chopped herbs.
