
Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

Description
For a softer consistency, it's better to use smooth peanut butter. For a special depth of flavor, you can add 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. To make crunchier cookies, use chunky peanut butter and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Muscovado Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Peanut Butter 5 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda ¼ teaspoon
- Salt ¼ g
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the room temperature butter until creamy. Add the two types of sugar and beat until fluffy. Add the peanut butter and egg, and mix well until smooth.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture and beat well.
Step 3
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
Step 4
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 320°F.
Step 5
From the prepared dough, form small balls (3.5 cm in diameter). Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, a couple of centimeters apart. Press down on the balls with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
Step 6
Bake for a maximum of 15 minutes. Once baked, let them sit on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
