Ingredients

  • Margarine 5 oz
  • Sour Cream 10 oz
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour 3 cups
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Orange zest to taste
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Melt the margarine. Add the honey to the hot margarine and stir until completely dissolved. Let it cool to a warm state.

Step 2

Mix in the sour cream, sugar, and orange zest, then add the flour with baking soda.

Step 3

Knead until you have a shiny, elastic dough. Divide the dough into pieces the size of a walnut. Roll into balls, slightly flatten them, and place them on a greased and floured baking sheet. Leave about three centimeters of space between the cookies, as they will expand while baking.

Step 4

Bake in the oven at 390°F for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
