Simple Milk Pancakes
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Salt a pinch
- Sugar 0 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 0 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Whisk the egg and sugar together well with a whisk (you don't need too much sugar, as you will likely eat them with something sweet: jam, honey, condensed milk; if you want sweet pancakes, add half a cup of sugar).
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of flour to the egg and sugar mixture and pour in a little milk, stirring actively to prevent lumps from forming; continue this process by adding 2 tablespoons of flour and milk, stirring to avoid lumps.
Step 3
Then add 1/4 tablespoon of baking soda, activated with vinegar, to the batter and mix everything well.
Step 4
Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to prevent the pancakes from sticking.
Step 5
Whisk everything again well to make the batter airy.
Step 6
Heat a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 7
Pour the batter into the pan with a ladle, depending on your preference — you can pour a lot for larger pancakes, but I prefer to pour a little for smaller, neater ones.
Step 8
Cook on low heat. Watch your pancake closely; as soon as you see it covered with holes, you can flip it and wait a bit for it to brown on the other side.
