Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 2 cups
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Butter 4 tablespoons
- Milk ½ cup
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Vodka 0 fl oz
- Raisins 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soften the butter and cream it with the sugar.
Step 2
Mix the baking powder with the flour. Wash and dry the raisins.
Step 3
Add the flour, milk, a pinch of salt, and vodka to the butter mixture, knead into a liquid batter, and beat for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Add the raisins and gently mix.
Step 5
Grease the baking pan with butter.
Step 6
Pour the batter into the pan. Bake the cake at 430°F for about 40–50 minutes.
Step 7
Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick — it should come out dry.
Step 8
Remove the finished cake from the oven, let it cool, and cut into serving pieces.
