- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz

Step 1
Take the finest sugar or crush regular sugar in a mortar. Then place it with 2 tablespoons of cold water and lemon juice in a saucepan. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture turns golden brown.
Step 2
Remove from heat and carefully add hot water — 175 ml — there will be a lot of steam, so be careful not to burn yourself. Return the saucepan to the heat and cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 3
Remove from heat, let cool, and pour into a small pitcher before serving.
