Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 4 pieces
  • 3.2% Milk 5 fl oz
  • 20% Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Tiger shrimp in brine 18 pieces
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
  • Parsley 0 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Emmental cheese 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the layers and sauce using the well-known recipe.

Step 2

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil. Add the shrimp — still in their shells, and it's best if they have their heads on: this way, they will retain their juiciness and rich flavor. After a minute, toss in parsley (reserve about a third for garnish) and crushed garlic, and season lightly with pepper. Stir and sauté for another three to four minutes, until the shells are fully coated in a pink hue. Allow the shrimp to cool.

Step 3

Peel the shrimp. Mix them with parsley and garlic. Place diced Emmental cheese into the pastry shells. Evenly distribute the shrimp mixture on top (three shrimp per tart) and pour over the sauce, allowing it time to soak into the filling.

Step 4

Bake for about forty minutes at 390°F. Serve garnished with parsley.
