Sherbet with Roasted Peanuts

Ingredients

  • Butter 5 oz
  • Condensed Milk 5 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Peanut Sprouts 5 oz
  • Water 0 fl oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Roast the peanuts (preferably evenly). Let cool. Remove the skin.

Step 2

Heat the water. Dissolve the sugar in it, stirring constantly.

Step 3

Once the water with sugar starts to boil, add the lemon juice, condensed milk, and previously melted butter. Mix everything very well and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.

Step 4

At the end of cooking, add the peanuts and mix everything well again.

Step 5

Transfer the mixture to a suitable mold and place the sherbet in the freezer until fully set.
