Shaker Churek
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 4 cups
- Powdered Sugar 1½ cups
- Butter 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the powdered sugar with the eggs and melted butter at room temperature, then add the flour. It will form a sticky yellow dough.
Step 2
Knead the dough by hand with a little flour.
Step 3
Place the covered dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Roll it into balls and place them on parchment paper. Slightly flatten the balls with your palm and bake for 25 minutes in the oven at 180–390°F. The cookies should remain pale.
Step 5
Sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar and let them cool.
