Sesame Cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Vanilla salt ½ teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
- Toasted Sesame 5 oz
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 2
Beat the softened butter with sugar. Then add the egg, vanilla, and lemon juice, and beat for 20-30 seconds with a mixer.
Step 3
On low speed, gradually add the flour in small portions.
Step 4
Fold in all the sesame seeds (they can be toasted beforehand).
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 355°F. On sheets of parchment paper (mandatory!), drop small mounds with a teaspoon, spaced 3-4 cm apart, as the cookies will spread.
Step 6
Bake for 8-15 minutes, depending on the size. Watch closely to prevent burning! They are soft and sticky while hot, but become crispy once cooled.
