Ingredients
- Serviceberries 15 oz
- Sugar 20 oz
- Salt a pinch

Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Place the serviceberries in a pot, sprinkle with sugar, and let sit for 3–4 hours.
Step 3
When the berries release their juice, add a pinch of salt.
Step 4
Put on the heat and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Cook on low heat, skimming off the foam, for about 30 minutes.
Step 6
Sterilize jars and lids over steam for 15–20 minutes.
Step 7
Transfer the hot jam into jars and seal with lids.
Step 8
Serve serviceberry jam with any dishes that could use a touch of sweetness, such as cheese pancakes.
