  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Wheat Flour ½ cup
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • Black Currants 5 oz
  • Powdered Sugar to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the semolina with water and sugar, and let it sit for 30 minutes to swell.

Step 2

Add baking powder and cinnamon. Add enough flour to achieve a consistency similar to thick sour cream.

Step 3

Pour into a baking dish, place the berries on top, and gently press them in.

Step 4

Bake for 30–40 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

Step 5

Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top and serve!
