Ingredients
- Kefir 10 fl oz
- Semolina 10 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Safflower Oil 5 fl oz
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
- Chopped almonds to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the semolina with kefir and let it sit for at least 1 hour.
Step 2
Beat the egg into the semolina and kefir mixture, add the oil, baking soda, and sugar. The batter should be thick.
Step 3
Bake in the oven in a square pan until golden brown at a temperature of 180–390°F. Check readiness with a toothpick. 7-10 minutes before the cake is done, sprinkle with almond flakes and let them brown, then cut the finished cake into square pieces.
