Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Onion 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Fish Oil 15 fl oz
- Coconut Milk 30 fl oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1½ tablespoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Crawfish Tails in Tomato Sauce 20 oz
- Ground Cumin 1½ teaspoons
- Squid 5 oz
- Pasta shells 10 oz
- Shrimp 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Lime 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper over medium heat until soft.
Step 2
Add coconut milk, broth, finely chopped basil, oregano, sage, cumin, and sugar, and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Reduce heat, add the peeled and diced crawfish tails (reserve some for garnish), sliced squid, and cook covered until tender, about 5–7 minutes.
Step 4
Add the shrimp tails and rinsed mussel shells. Cover and cook until the mussel shells open, about 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, serve with lime wedges, garnished with boiled crawfish tails.
