Scones with Cheese and Herbs
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Kefir 10 fl oz
- Cheese Spread 15 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Herbs to taste
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix all the dry ingredients.
Step 2
Take the butter out of the refrigerator and rub it into the flour until crumbly.
Step 3
Grate the cheese and add it to the butter-flour mixture.
Step 4
Gradually pour in the cold kefir and knead the dough (do not knead too long, just until it forms a ball).
Step 5
Flatten the dough into a disc about 1.7-2 cm thick. Cut into pieces.
Step 6
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the triangles on it. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 200°C.
