  • Whole egg 1 piece
  • Cottage cheese 10 oz
  • Milk 4 tablespoons
  • Egg white 1 piece
  • Bacon 5 oz
  • Scallions 1 bunch
  • Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
  • Salt a pinch

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mash the cottage cheese (100 g), then add cold butter cut into small pieces. Add the flour and salt. Chop all ingredients into crumbs. Add the yolk and knead the dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 2

For the filling: first mix the cottage cheese (130 g) with the egg white, then add the milk. Add salt and a little lemon juice. Separately chop the bacon and onion, mix them, and distribute into greased molds. Top with the cottage cheese mixture.

Step 3

Bake at 355°F for about 35 minutes. Allow to cool slightly. You can garnish with green onion on top. I baked in molds with a diameter of 11 cm.
