Savoiardi Cookies (Ladyfingers)

Description
The cookies can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also whip mascarpone cheese with sugar separately!
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Sugar 5 tablespoons
- Vanilla salt ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Prepare a pastry bag with a round tip, 1.25 cm in diameter.
Step 3
Beat 2 tablespoons of sugar with the egg yolks until pale yellow. Add vanilla and flour.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites, gradually adding 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Step 5
Combine the whipped yolks and whites. Transfer the resulting mixture into the pastry bag.
Step 6
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pipe the mixture from the pastry bag onto the paper, forming cookies 7.5 cm long.
Step 7
Bake for 8–10 minutes. Then sprinkle with sugar or powdered sugar.
