Description

The lemons should be medium-sized. If they are very large, use 5 pieces. Lemons can be stored in the refrigerator for about 6 months.

  • Lemon 7 pieces
  • Coarse Salt 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Rinse the lemons well and dry them.

Step 2

Cut the tops and bottoms off 5 lemons and slice them in half. Then cut each half into 3 pieces.

Step 3

Sterilize a large jar with a lid using steam.

Step 4

Carefully place the lemons in the jar, pressing them gently and sprinkling layers of lemons with salt. Pour the remaining salt on top.

Step 5

Juice the remaining 2 lemons and pour the juice into the jar. Close the lid and place it in the refrigerator for 2–3 weeks until the lemons are completely covered in syrup.
