Salmon Fish Soup

Ingredients

  • Smoked haddock fillet 15 oz
  • Potato 20 oz
  • Onion 5 oz
  • Carrot 5 oz
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 3 spoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Bay leaf 5 pieces
  • Green peppercorns 5 pieces
  • Herbs to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the salmon fillet into small pieces and dice the potatoes into sticks or cubes. Place everything into a pot of boiling water and cook over medium heat for about thirty minutes.

Step 2

Slice the onion into half rings (or dice it, as preferred) and sauté it in a skillet. Then add the diced carrots and, after a short while, the tomato paste. Simmer (you can add a little sugar to the tomatoes if desired).

Step 3

Mix everything together, add spices to taste, sprinkle with herbs, and serve.
