  • Chicken Broth 5 qt
  • Salad Potatoes 2 pieces
  • Onion 1 head
  • Parsley 1 piece
  • Pearl barley 3 tablespoons
  • Sour Cream to taste
  • Dill to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the sorted, washed, and previously soaked pearl barley in a pot with heated broth.

Step 2

Wash the fresh cabbage, dry it, cut it into small squares, and add it to the broth.

Step 3

Then add the peeled, washed, and diced potatoes, carrots, parsley root, and onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook until the vegetables are tender.

Step 4

Finish the soup by adding sour cream.

Step 5

Sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
