Ingredients

  • Butter 15 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
  • Bittersweet Chocolate 5 oz
  • Brown Sugar ½ cup
  • Vanillin 1 teaspoon
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour ¾ cup
  • Dark rum 6 tablespoons
  • Sugar 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Beat the butter with sugar, salt, and vanillin.

Step 2

Add the eggs and beat again.

Step 3

Mix with flour and chocolate (previously melted in a water bath), add the rum, and knead a sticky thick dough.

Step 4

Stir until you achieve a homogeneous mass. Roll into small balls. Roll the balls in granulated sugar. Keep for a couple of days in a sealed plastic container to allow them to soak up the rum and become aromatic.
