- Sugar 5 lbs
- Rosebuds 20 oz
- Lemon ½ piece
- Water 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the petals from red or pink roses (removing the white parts), chop them finely, mix with 500 g of sugar, place in a container, and leave for two days.
Step 2
From the remaining sugar, add lemon juice and cook to make a syrup.
Step 3
In the hot syrup, add the candied rose petals and simmer on low heat until the syrup is ready.
