Ingredients
- Peeled chestnuts 15 oz
- Salt to taste
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Using a small, sharp knife, make a cross-cut on the skin of each chestnut.
Step 3
Roast on a baking sheet for 20–30 minutes, until the skin starts to open and the chestnuts are heated through.
Step 4
You can add salt and spices to taste.
Step 5
Serve in a paper bag or newspaper, or peel and use as a side dish for a holiday meal.
