Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Butter 0 oz
- Rice 10 oz
- Chicken Broth 0 qt
- Dry White Wine 2 cups
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the broth and keep it warm.
Step 2
In a medium skillet, heat the butter and sauté the onion over low heat until golden.
Step 3
Add the rice to the skillet and, stirring constantly, sauté until it becomes shiny and translucent.
Step 4
Increase the heat, add the wine. Continue stirring until the wine has evaporated almost completely.
Step 5
Pour in 300 ml of hot broth and continue stirring until the liquid has evaporated almost completely.
Step 6
Gradually add the broth and wine to the skillet by the spoonful, allowing the rice to absorb the liquid slowly. This will take about 20–30 minutes.
Step 7
Before serving, add a piece of butter to the rice and sprinkle with Parmesan.
