- Canned Baby Beets 1 can
- Garlic 1 clove
- Scottish Hot Pepper 1 piece
- Scallions 3 stalks
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1 teaspoon
- Water 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Coconut Milk 15 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a pot, add the rice and the rinsed beans, minced garlic, whole hot pepper, thinly sliced green onions, and thyme.
Step 2
Pour in the coconut milk and water. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover, and cook for about 20 minutes until tender.

Remove the hot pepper and serve.
