Ingredients
- Rice 10 oz
- Water 15 fl oz
- Peanut Sprouts 5 oz
- Pea shoots 0 oz
- Ghee 2 tablespoons
- Red Long Chili Peppers a pinch
- Green peppercorns a pinch
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the dried peas overnight.
Step 2
Heat the ghee in a pot over medium heat. Add the red and black pepper, then the peanuts. Stir-fry the peanuts until they turn light brown.
Step 3
Add the rinsed and dried rice, and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
Step 4
Add the pre-soaked peas.
Step 5
Gently mix, add salted water. Cover the pot with a lid, and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes without stirring. The rice is ready when it becomes dry.
