
Rice Pudding with Raisins

Ingredients
- Long-Grain Rice ½ cup
- Water 1 cup
- Whole egg 4 pieces
- Sugar ½ cup
- Raisins 5 oz
- Milk 2½ cups
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add rice to water. Bring to a boil (stirring a couple of times), then reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 14 minutes (do not remove the lid). All the water should be absorbed.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 330°F.
Step 3
In a heatproof container, mix the yolks, sugar, raisins, milk, vanilla, salt, and hot rice. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Step 4
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from the oven, mix well, and let sit for 15 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Bon appetit!!
