Red Rice Soup with Beef
Ingredients
- Black rice (imperial) 1 cup
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Veal Tenderloin 10 oz
- Minced garlic 3 cloves
- Potato 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Dried Chamomile 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour water over the beef, add pepper and salt, and cook until done. Remove the meat from the broth, chop finely, and set aside.
Step 2
Add rice to the broth and cook on low heat with the lid closed for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, sauté the finely chopped onion, garlic, and diced carrot until soft. Add the finely chopped tomato.
Step 4
5 minutes before the rice is ready, add the meat and sautéed vegetables to the soup. Serve, sprinkled with herbs.
