Red Onion Marmalade
Ingredients
- Sugar 35 oz
- Spanish onions 90 oz
- Apple juice with pulp 10 fl oz
- Orange zest 1 piece
- Red Grape Juice 15 fl oz
- Apple 2 pieces
- Thyme 1 sprig
- Marjoram 1 sprig
- Balsamic Vinegar 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel and chop the onions and apples into small pieces.
Step 2
Add sugar, orange zest, and apple juice to the onions and apples. Add vinegar, thyme, and marjoram.
Step 3
Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes, constantly skimming off the foam.
Step 4
Remove from heat and let sit for 30 minutes, then add the wine and bring to a boil again.
Step 5
Blend the mixture in a blender until smooth.
