Description
Red Grape Granita
Ingredients
- Red Grape Juice 0 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Seedless Green Grapes 10 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine the wine, sugar, and 240 ml of water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat, and let cool.
Step 2
In a blender, puree the grapes until smooth, add the syrup, and mix well. Strain the mixture through a sieve into a bowl, pressing the pulp to extract the remaining juice. Add 240 ml of water, lemon juice, and refrigerate, covered with plastic wrap.
Step 3
Pour the mixture into 2 metal containers or bowls and place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. Stir and freeze for about 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent it from freezing solid.
Step 4
Fluff the granita with a fork to achieve a light texture and serve in dessert cups.
