Raisin, Dried Apricot, and Walnut Pie
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Vanilla salt 2 teaspoons
- Butter 5 oz
- Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
- Raisins 5 oz
- Dried Apricots 5 oz
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Baking Powder 3 teaspoons
- Milk 3 tablespoons
- Chocolate 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix softened butter until smooth with sugar and vanilla sugar.
Step 2
Add eggs and mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Add baking powder and flour.
Step 4
Finely chop the dried apricots and crush the walnuts. Add the dried apricots, raisins, and walnuts to the mixture.
Step 5
Knead the dough.
Step 6
Place the dough in a baking pan. Put it in a preheated oven at 355°F and bake for 40–45 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.
Step 7
For the glaze (instead of glaze, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar): melt the chocolate in milk over a steam bath.
Step 8
Pour the glaze over the cake and let it cool.
