Quick Vanilla Cookies with Powdered Sugar
Ingredients
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Margarine 5 oz
- Powdered Sugar 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soften the butter or margarine.
Step 2
Cream the butter with sugar and vanilla.
Step 3
Add the eggs to the butter mixture.
Step 4
Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually combine it with the dough. Knead a rather stiff dough. Leave the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Shape cookies of various forms from the prepared dough. The dough can be passed through a meat grinder or simply cut into circles using a glass.
Step 6
Bake the cookies for 15–20 minutes at a temperature of 375°F. Sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar.
