- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Butter 5 oz
- Whole egg 1 piece
- Water 3 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the flour with a pinch of salt. Then add the cold butter cut into small pieces and use your hands to knead the mixture until it resembles crumbs. Add the egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of ice water. Stir and add more water if necessary (the dough should become smooth).
Step 2
Shape the dough into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
