Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Butter 10 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Water 1 cup
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour onto a pastry board, add the chilled butter cut into small pieces, and chop finely with a knife. Then make a well in the flour mixed with butter, pour in the salted water, add the egg, lemon juice or vinegar, and knead the dough.
Step 2
Form the dough into a ball, cover it with a napkin, and place it in a cool place for 30–40 minutes, after which roll it out and use it for baking cheesecakes, pastries, or cookies.
