Quick Fig Tart
Ingredients
- Green Figs 6 pieces
- Puff Pastry 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thaw the puff pastry and roll it out. Cut out a circle. Place it in a greased baking dish. From the remaining pastry, cut strips about 1 to 1.5 cm wide and place them around the edges of the future crust to create a border. Prick the bottom with a fork.
Step 2
Wash the figs and cut off the tough stems. Make two cross cuts on one fig. Slice the others into rounds.
Step 3
Arrange the sliced figs on top of the pastry. Place the whole fig in the center. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 340°F for 20 minutes.
