
Quick Curd Pastries

Description
For the dough, it's best to use curd without lumps (or strain it beforehand). Lumps in the dough will not dissolve, and the pastries will have brown crispy bumps.
Ingredients
- Curd 10 oz
- Kefir 1 cup
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour kefir into a bowl, add baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, curd, mix everything thoroughly, then add sifted flour and knead a soft, sticky dough.
Step 2
Do not add more flour! Cover the dough with a bowl and let it rest for 20–30 minutes to allow the gluten to swell. Prepare the filling as you wish.
Step 3
Roll out the dough for the pastries on a floured surface to a thickness of 0.5–0.7 cm. Fry the pastries in vegetable oil as usual.
