Quick Chicken Breast Pie
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 15 oz
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 10 oz
- Chicken Egg 4 pieces
- Scallions 0 oz
- Dill 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the chicken finely and sauté it, then add the green onions and parsley and sauté for another minute. Boil three eggs and chop them finely. Combine all the ingredients; the filling is ready and needs to sit and cool down completely. For a finer texture, I blend the already mixed filling at a low speed.
Step 2
Thaw the dough and lay it out on parchment paper or a baking mat (I rarely roll out the dough, just adjust it a bit). Note that the dough should be rectangular; if you bought a package with two squares, simply place one over the other, overlapping by about 1 cm. Spread the filling evenly, then cut the edges almost to the filling (as shown in the photo) and braid these edges together. Brush with beaten egg and bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 180–390°F.
