  • Onion 1 head
  • Turnips 4 pieces
  • Dried Dill Stems 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken Broth 0 qt
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Butter 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Melt the butter in a pot and add finely chopped onion. Sauté until soft for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Add peeled and thinly sliced carrots, dill, and 1 liter of broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 20-30 minutes until the carrots are soft.

Step 3

Blend the soup in a blender until smooth, adding more broth as needed to achieve your desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Pour into bowls and top with a small amount of dill pesto.
