Quick beef pho soup
Ingredients
- Chicken Broth 0 qt
- Cured beef 15 oz
- Egg noodles for wok 5 oz
- Oyster Mushrooms 5 oz
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Cilantro 3 sprigs
- Scallions 2 pieces
- Soy Sauce 3 spoons
- Lime 1 piece
- Salt 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Separate the oyster mushrooms into individual pieces and trim off the tough base.
Step 3
Boil the mushrooms in boiling water until cooked, about 3–5 minutes.
Step 4
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
Step 5
Add the noodles to the pot and cook until done, about 1 minute.
Step 6
Drain the noodles in a colander and quickly rinse them under cold running water.
Step 7
Slice the meat into thin pieces.
Step 8
Slice the chili pepper into thin rounds.
Step 9
Place the noodles, mushrooms, and meat on a plate.
Step 10
Pour in the boiling broth.
Step 11
Add soy sauce and chili pepper to taste.
Step 12
Sprinkle with chopped herbs.
Step 13
Serve with a wedge of lime.
