Quiche with Wild Garlic and Goat Cheese
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Margarine 0 oz
- Water to taste
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Goat cheese 5 oz
- Wild Garlic Greens 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the flour, softened butter, margarine, and a little salt. Add some water and knead into a soft dough. Form a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Roll out the dough and place it in a round tart pan with low sides (25 cm), pressing it well. Cover with foil and fill with beans. Bake on the top rack of the oven for about 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 7 minutes until the crust is lightly browned.
Step 4
Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk the eggs with the cream and goat cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
In a skillet, heat a small amount of vegetable oil and add finely chopped wild garlic. Sauté, stirring, until softened. Let it cool.
Step 6
Slightly cool the tart shell, add the wild garlic, and pour in the egg mixture.
Step 7
Bake until set for about 30 minutes at 355°F, until the filling is slightly puffed and the crust is well browned.
