Quail Soup with Bulgur
Ingredients
- Quail Egg 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Potato 6 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Bulgur 5 oz
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Salt 2 teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Bay leaf 3 pieces
- Quail Egg 12 pieces
- Turmeric to taste
- Green peppercorns to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Add the quail, bay leaf, black peppercorns, and salt to boiling water. Cook the broth.
Step 2
Cut the potatoes into small pieces and add them to the broth.
Step 3
When the potatoes are half cooked, add the bulgur.
Step 4
After about 10 minutes, add the carrot, turmeric, and ground black pepper.
Step 5
When the soup is ready, add the herbs.
Step 6
Boil the quail eggs separately.
Step 7
Serve a portion of soup with two halved quail eggs.
