  • Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
  • Pumpkin pie spices 1 tablespoon
  • Chestnut puree 15 fl oz
  • Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
  • Natural Yogurt 10 fl oz
  • Large eggs 3 pieces
  • Brown Sugar 5 oz
  • Chopped almonds 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Grease a muffin pan with oil.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix both flours, baking powder, spices, and baking soda.

Step 3

In a large bowl, whisk together the oil, pumpkin puree, yogurt, eggs, and 200 g of sugar. Add 120 g of walnuts and the dry ingredients. Gently mix.

Step 4

Spoon the batter into the muffin cups and sprinkle with the remaining walnuts and sugar.

Step 5

Bake for about 35–40 minutes until done.
