Description

Instead of walnuts, you can use pine nuts.

Ingredients

  • Papaya flesh 10 oz
  • Cream 22% 5 fl oz
  • Turnips 2 pieces
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Raisins 5 oz
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • White Pepper (whole) to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the pumpkin and carrots, and cut them into small cubes.

Step 2

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pot. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Pour 1 cup of hot water into the pot and cook for another 10 minutes. Then blend everything in a blender. Return the soup to the pot, add cream, salt, and white pepper. Stirring, keep on low heat for another 4–5 minutes.

Step 4

Rinse the raisins, chop the nuts. Sauté the raisins and nuts in the remaining butter. Add to the soup.
