Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 2 cups
- Butter 10 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Water ¾ cup
- Lemon ¼ piece
- Apple 0 lbs
- Sugar 1½ cups

Step 1
Prepare the puff pastry.
Step 2
Roll out the prepared dough to a thickness of ½ cm, to the length of the baking sheet. Cut the rolled dough into strips 7–8 cm wide, place them on a baking sheet slightly moistened with water, brush the strips with beaten egg, decorate the top with a pattern using a fork or the tip of a knife, and place in the oven for 20–25 minutes. The baked pastry should be 4–5 cm thick. Prepare the apple filling separately.
Step 3
Place the pastry strips on a board and cut them lengthwise into 2 layers. On the layer with the bottom crust, place the apple filling, smooth it out, and then place the layer with the top crust on top. Cut into individual pastries, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and transfer to a plate with a paper napkin.
