Puff Pastry Spirals with Cottage Cheese and Raisins
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Raisins 5 oz
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Puff Pastry 1 piece
- Cream 22% ½ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the cottage cheese with the cream and mash the mixture thoroughly with a fork. You can add sugar to taste—I add 3 tablespoons.
Step 2
Roll out the pastry dough not too thinly. Spread the cottage cheese mixture over the dough, leaving a strip of about 4 cm on one edge.
Step 3
Sprinkle with raisins. Roll the dough into a log, finishing with the edge that was left without the cottage cheese.
Step 4
Using a very sharp knife, cut the log into pieces about 2.5–3 cm thick. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and greased with oil. Slightly twist the edges of the spirals to create rose shapes.
Step 5
Place in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 15–20 minutes. As soon as the pastry rises in volume—it’s ready!!!
