  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
  • Puff Pastry 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Chop the pumpkin into large pieces and boil it in salted water, making sure it doesn't become mushy. Once the pumpkin has cooled, grate it using a coarse grater.

Step 2

Lightly toast the walnuts and chop them.

Step 3

Add sugar, walnuts, softened butter, cinnamon, and mix well.

Step 4

Roll out the puff pastry (using store-bought) into a wide rectangle, place the filling along one edge, and roll it tightly into a log. Brush it with butter, place it on a baking sheet, and bake in the oven at 180°C for 30–35 minutes.
