Description

From 1 package of puff pastry, which consists of two sheets, you can make 2 pies, as the second sheet will not be needed to cover the filling. And while the pie may not look very appetizing, I assure you, it tastes simply magical.

Ingredients

  • Frozen spinach discs 15 oz
  • Feta cheese 10 oz
  • Wheat Flour 1 teaspoon
  • Unleavened dough 15 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Thaw the puff pastry by taking it out of the freezer about an hour before cooking.

Step 2

Thaw the spinach and squeeze out the liquid, as there will be quite a bit. It's best to do this in a colander.

Step 3

Mash the feta cheese with a fork and mix it with the spinach.

Step 4

Lightly dust the pastry sheet with flour and roll it out a bit so it's not too thin. Place the filling in the center, fold the edges of the pastry, pinch the edges together, and make a small hole in the center for steam to escape.

Step 5

Place the future pie either in a baking dish or simply on a sheet of parchment paper (the second option is better, as you can just throw away the used paper later). Put it in a preheated oven at 390°F and bake until golden brown, as the filling is already fully cooked.

Step 6

Serve warm, as the filling will be very hot.
