  • Puff Pastry to taste
  • White Cabbage 5 oz
  • Scallions ½ bunches
  • Chicken Egg 4 pieces
  • Dill to taste
  • Herb Bouquet to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Roll out the prepared puff pastry into two sheets, approximately 30x18 cm in size and 2 mm thick.

Step 2

Roll out the bottom layer with a rolling pin and place it in the baking tray lined with parchment paper greased with oil.

Step 3

Spread a layer of the filling made from blanched cabbage, finely chopped hard-boiled eggs, and diced fresh green onions, previously mixed and seasoned with spices to your taste.

Step 4

Place a second layer of dough on top and press the edges firmly to seal. You can use a knife to create a lattice pattern or make small holes in the top layer for decoration.

Step 5

Brush the pie with beaten egg yolks using a food brush.

Step 6

Place in a preheated oven at 390°F for 20–25 minutes, (determine doneness based on your own experience with your oven).

Step 7

Once you take the finished pie out of the oven, cover it with a napkin and let it rest for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 8

After that, cut into serving pieces and serve with sweet tea and lemon, or as a substitute for bread with the first courses.
